SIHA

Striving to Improve Health for All

A Community Rooted in Care, Connection, and Collective Well-Being.

SIHA (Striving to Improve Health for All) is a Wisconsin-based initiative working to uplift the emotional, mental, and social well-being of Muslims across our state. We recognize the unique challenges our communities face — from stigma to stress, isolation, identity struggles, and the need for culturally-rooted healing spaces.

At SIHA, we believe wellness is not something we face alone. It is nurtured together — in community, through conversation, reflection, and shared care.

“What an amazing event! My girls loved participating in the SIHA Nature and Nurture program recently and it was a huge success! With the backdrop being the beautiful Wehr Nature Center, my girls learned about the qulaities to look for in friends. In today’s world, it is so important that we provide our teenagers with the tools to navigate relationships, and that is exactly what this session offered. We are looking forward to more events by SIHA in the future”

“When I went to the Nature and Nurture event, I thought it was going to be something where we just sit down and listen the whole time. But that wasn’t what happened at all! We went outside on a hike and learned about lots of different things. I really liked how interactive it was with everyone, and I even made a new friend. I learned so much and I really enjoyed it!”
